Ranya Pohoomull

As a Columbia University-trained Indian therapist raised between Nigeria and the UK, I know what it means to feel caught between cultures and norms. My Third Culture Kid background equips me to support multicultural individuals and couples, professionals, and international students as they navigate questions of identity, intergenerational wounds, anxiety, and relationships.

My therapeutic approach is both individualized and relational. Drawing from Psychodynamic, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotion-focused techniques, we’ll work hand in hand to identify the parts of you that need care, bring suppressed feelings to the surface, and use body-based awareness to anchor new insights. Sessions are active, collaborative, and attuned to both mind and body, fostering deeper self-awareness and compassion along the way.

Change can feel uncomfortable, but together we’ll create a sense of home - within yourself and in the world around you. I’m here to support your growth every step of the way.
