Ranya Pohoomull
As a Columbia University-trained Indian therapist raised between Nigeria and the UK, I know what it means to feel caught between cultures, norms and expectations. My TCK background equips me to support multicultural individuals & couples, young professionals, and immigrants as they navigate complex family dynamics, anxiety and relationships.
Drawing from Psychodynamic, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotion-focused techniques, we’ll work together to identify the parts of you that need more care, resolve any unconscious conflicting narratives from childhood, and use somatic awareness to lean into your body’s intuitions. Sessions with me are active, collaborative, and attuned to both mind and heart.
Change can feel uncomfortable, but together we’ll create a sense of belonging - within yourself and in the world around you. I’m excited to guide you towards transformation in your next chapter.
